The Goldbergs "Two-Timing Goldbergs" is Comic Romance and Bromance

What turned out to be a two-timing Barry Goldberg (Troy Gentile) was a second chance at friendship with Bill Lewis (David Koechner). Photos courtesy of TV Insider and ABC. The February 22 episode of The Goldbergs is a combination of romance and bromance, with Adam trying to get "casual" with Carmen and Barry and Bill trying to heal over Murray.  While it's clear that Beverly is the one who needs the most changing, which now seems impossible after 10 years, there's still some laughter to be shared during these tough adult moments. Goldberg having fun videotaping his childhood in the 80s and showing his crazy family isn't the same fun now in season 10. For example, Beverly's still an overbearing "smother", Barry is still a loudmouth with very one-sided friendships with the JTP, and Adam still has crazy relationship drama with his love life. I know the kid had to grow up at some point, with or without some relatives in his life, but if the show is meant to go any longer, it better show some more lighthearted stuff, something fresh, something that shows the Goldberg family at their truly best . But the show still has some laughs left, emphasis on some .   Despite recycling old embarrassing stuff, the Goldbergs as individuals and together still manages to come together. Just put on some more upbeat family times and music, and I'm sure it'll be fine
